Note: Chaetomorpha norvegica Leliaert & Rueness (earlier Urospora microscopica Levring) grows in the sublittoral and has been found as an epiphyte on red algae. It consists of minute uniseriate and unbranched filaments, with cell diameters 10-20 um. The basal cell has an attachment disc. The chloroplast is parietal and lobed and contains several pyrenoids.
