Light green, uniseriate, unbranched and curled thalli, forming entangled bundles (arrow). It is only attached in its early stage. It often occurs among other algae in rock pools or in intertidal, and is most abundant in summer. Cells are 40-80 um in diameter, multinucleate (20-50 per cell) and length is 1-2(4) times the width.
